Alliance Guides

// FOR MEMBERS

How do I view a guide?

From the dashboard, click the Alliance Guides tile. You will see all published guides. Click any guide title to open it. The guide renders page by page in your browser — no download required.

Can I download or print a guide?

No. Guides are rendered as canvas images — there is no PDF file in your browser. Right-click is disabled on all guide pages. This is intentional: content is for alliance members only and must not be redistributed.

What is the watermark?

Every page of every guide is stamped with a repeating diagonal watermark containing your Discord username, your alliance name, your kingdom number, and today's date. This means any screenshot taken of a guide is traceable back to you. The watermark is applied in your browser on the canvas — it cannot be removed.

A guide says "temporarily unavailable" — why?

The alliance has reached its monthly bandwidth cap (the total amount of guide data served this month). This resets automatically on the 1st of every month. There is nothing you need to do — check back then.

It says I've reached my personal guide limit — what now?

Each member has a personal monthly bandwidth limit to prevent any single user from exhausting the shared pool. It resets on the 1st of every month. If you hit it and genuinely need access before then, speak to an admin.

I can't see a guide that someone mentioned — why?

The guide may not have been published yet. Admins upload guides in draft state and publish them when ready. Only published guides appear in the list for members.

What is the confirmation checkbox at the bottom of a guide?

After the guide finishes loading, a checkbox appears at the bottom: "I have read this document and everything is clear." Checking it records that you have read and understood the guide. This is visible to admins in the activity log. Once confirmed it stays confirmed — you cannot uncheck it.

Why do I need to log in with Discord?

Access is restricted to members who hold a specific role in the alliance Discord server. Discord login lets the app verify your role without you needing a separate account. If you are denied access, you may not have the required role — contact an officer.
